Ronnie and Derek have again tried to both fit into one of their ‘cosy’ tubes – despite there being two! See below photos of them squishing into the tight space. This resulted in a tight squeeze and Ronnie eventually got kicked out by Derek!

As well as eating and exploring, one of the other main hobbies of pet rats is sleeping and resting – and doing lots of it, as demonstrated below by Ronnie and Derek!

Ronnie was fascinated by this ornament of two rats sleeping in a bed together which I placed on top of their cage. Perhaps he was jealous of the little hot water bottles the pottery rats have! See photos of him investigating, below.

Ronnie and Derek love sniffing intently when they know there’s food about – they’d surely love to wear a perfume that was the smell of food (possibly branded ‘Odour Food’). Watch the video below to see them getting over-excited about sniffing out a meal that was nearby!
View the photos below to see Ronnie and Derek making themselves very comfortable on some bedding in the spare bedroom. Presumably they’ll now be expecting breakfast in bed!
